CITY OF ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA ROCHESTER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - MECHANICAL UPGRADES
Notice is hereby given that proposals will be received at the Office of the City Clerk until 11:00 A.M. on September 22, 2010, for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, etc., necessary for the Mechanical Upgrades Project at the Rochester International Airport in southwest Rochester, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk of said City: MnDOT S.P. No. 5501-186, City of Rochester Project No. J-6942. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving proposals, the City Clerk and two designated City Officials will publicly open said proposals in the City Hall and tabulate them in advance of the Council meeting. The Common Council will consider the proposals in the Council /Board Chambers at the Government Center at 7:00 P.M. on October 4, 2010. Each proposal must be sealed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check payable to the City of Rochester, Minnesota, for five (5) percent of the amount of the proposal, which shall be forfeited to the City if the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to him shall fail to enter into the contract so let; the said Common Council reserving the right to reject any and all bids. A Pre-Bid conference and Walk-Through will be held at 1:30 P.M. on the 14th of September, 2010, in the Rochester Airport Company Conference Room at the Rochester International Airport, Rochester, Minnesota. HAVERHILL TOWN BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING(S) PRELIMINARY PLAT, VACATING SALLEY RIDGE LANE NE AND FINAL PLAT
The Haverhill Town Board will hold public hearing(s) at the Haverhill Town Hall, 4000 55th Avenue NE, Rochester, MN on Tuesday, September 15, 2010 after 8:00 PM regarding: Application for a preliminary and final plat for 31 single family residential lots have been submitted for a development know as Salley Hill. The property is zoned R-1, Low Density Residential District. One full lot and a part of a second lot are located in Haverhill Township; the remainder of the project is located in Cascade Township. The preliminary plat has been approved by the Cascade Town Board. The Cascade Planning Commission conditionally sent the final plat to the Cascade Town Board for their consideration once it has been reviewed and acted on by the Haverhill Town Board. The Haverhill Planning Commission will hold public hearings prior to this date and their recommendations will be submitted to the Town Board for their consideration. As a part of this process, the Town Board is being requested to consider vacating the present alignment of Salley Ridge Lane NE. A petition to vacate signed by all of the adjoining property owners has been present to the Town Board for consideration. A separate public hearing will be conduction on the vacation petition prior to considering final plat approval.
